This year, the PNWDC meet-up will be held in Vancouver, British Columbia on Thursday, November 10th at Simon Fraser University's Vancouver campus. As has been the case in the past, we hope to organise a fantastic day of programming with invited guests, lighting talks, formal presentations and maybe a workshop if time permits. Plus socialising. Please see the preliminary agenda on our meeting website and check back for rolling updates in the coming weeks.

Participants will visualize an Earth Sciences dataset covering the world's oceans. The dataset will be available for download from October 1-31, with submissions due by midnight Eastern time on October 31.

Participants from all science fields are encouraged to enter. Submissions will be reviewed by the Compute Canada visualization team. Additional points will be given for:
