This guide will assist UBC applicants in understanding partnership requirements, determine partner eligibility and NSERC cost-sharing with budgeting examples, and provides strategic advice on completing the proposal template sections.

The ACS Animal Welfare Committee - comprised of Animal Care Services staff and veterinarians – aims to further improve the welfare of animals under our care. The Committee is actively seeking opportunities for increased application of the 3Rs (Replacement, Reduction and Refinement).

Canada’s Stem Cell Network (SCN) announced funding of $19.5 million for 32 stem cell and regenerative medicine research projects and clinical trials across Canada.

UBC researchers are leading seven projects awarded a total of $2.85 million from the Stem Cell Network. A further three projects involving UBC co-investigators and collaborators were awarded a combined $6.3 million.

Today, the Honourable François-Philippe Champagne, Minister of Innovation, Science and Industry, and the Honourable Jean-Yves Duclos, Minister of Health, are announcing an investment of $19.2 million to support 46 community-based and community-led research partnerships through the Race, Gender and Diversity Initiative.
