Nominations are now open for the annual UBC Faculty Research Awards, including the Killam Accelerator Research Fellowship (KARF). These awards acknowledge research excellence across all disciplines at UBC. Submit an Expression of Intent by September 15 (not requested for the KARF).

CIHR is seeking a new Scientific Director for the Institute of Indigenous Peoples' Health (IIPH). This is a 4-year term (with the possibility of a second-term appointment), with responsibilities including providing overall direction and leadership for CIHR-IIPH. UBC Advanced Research Computing (ARC) is pleased to announce that the S3 protocol is available to use on ARC’s Chinook storage platform. S3 allows researchers to programmatically access their data and to enable s3-compatible web platforms. Learn more
